As a show of support for the local communities, Garden State music ambassador and 95.9 WRAT’s Jersey Rock host, Maria Mar will be hosting a holiday benefit concert for those affected by Hurricane Sandy tonight (Dec. 22) at The Saint in Asbury Park, N.J.

The show starts at 8pm and will feature local bands from all over the Garden State including Set it Free, Elevator Art, Graviteer, Rope Tree, and Only Living Boy. Funds from the show will be donated to The Rat’s Belmar Family Relief Fund, an organization that has been assisting New Jersey residents affected or displaced from the storm’s damage.

Advance tickets are still available on Ticketweb.com and can be purchased at the door. For set times and more information, check out the event’s Facebook page.

Hurricane Sandy recovery in New Jersey is far from over, so take a break this holiday weekend and head out to The Saint in Asbury Park to help the New Jersey Sandy victims and to support our good friend Maria Mar and the local music scene!
