Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent. Snitch looks like a decent enough time, but surely not theater fare for me. In the movie The Rock (I’m never gonna call him Dwayne Johnson) goes undercover for the DEA so he can clear the name of his son who is a bit of trouble. The ex pro wrestler can make any movie entertaining and of course if there’s a bit of action involving him, which is never a bad thing either. However I think I’ll save this one for the rental pile when it becomes available in that format. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. The Rock has done some bad movies — most of them are from his run with Disney’s kids movies. But of his action movies, none have looked as bland, uninteresting and frankly piss poor as Snitch. This had bad written all over it. A father’s going to shave time off his son’s jail term by becoming a ‘snitch’ for the US government and help take down drug dealers? I think I saw an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger like this…and we all know how awesome that show was. Personally, I like The Rock, but as a supporting player. He’s got charisma and he’s funny and he’s got personality — I just wish he’d find good roles to play. –BB
