The jazz/funk/soul trio Soulive presented the fourth installation of their annual ‘Bowlive’ music series — a 10 night run at the famed Brooklyn Bowl in the Willamsburg section of the 718.

The run features a slew of guest musicians hopping onstage for red hot improvisation jams and on Thursday March 14th the group saw the likes of Tash Neal, the lead singer of The London Souls and iconic funk bassist George Porter, Jr. of The Meters/Funky Meters drop in for a mind-melting menagerie of melody, funk and rock ‘n’ roll.
