Pop-Press: Royal Blood in NYC

We are stoked to let you know about this amazing new band…Royal Blood.

If you enjoy a little bit of an edge, a little bit of toughness to your indie alternative, then listening to Royal Blood is an absolute must. The UK duo’s sound is a muscular, bombastic adrenaline spike to the chest. It has thunderous. rip roaring guitar work and a serious aura of badassery surrounding it. But don’t think this is something thrashed out metal outfit. The vocals of Michael Kerr are amazing — at times evoking a more polished Jack White. His harmonious yet formidable pipes are the straw that stirs the heavy drink of royal blood. If you’re one of those alt fans who miss the harder and heavier work bands like Alice in Chains or Soundgarden produced in the 90s, this will satiate your thirst.

The band will be performing on May 12th as Glasslands in Brooklyn and May 13th at The Mercury Lounge.
