Chiodos- Devil
Chiodos released their fifth album, Devil, at the beginning of summer, and it is their first album since coming out of hiatus. I have been playing this album on repeat all summer, it is definitely my favorite album of theirs, but it is not for everyone. If you enjoy heavy metal music and strong, screaming vocals, then this is the album for you. Devil will definitely increase your urge to break things and start a mosh pit wherever you happen to be.
Craig Owens’ voice never ceases to amaze me with how it can go from very smooth to screaming whenever he feels the need. His voice with the rest of the band’s sound goes together so well, and perfects their heavy metal sound. If you were a fan of Chiodos before they took a break, then this album will not disappoint you, and if you’re new to them, it is a good place to start. -Kayla Peters
