Brian Setzer – Rockabilly Riot: All Original
Anybody who has ever tapped their feet to “Rock This Town” will love the rockier songs on Rockabilly Riot: All Original, especially Setzer’s first single of the album, “Let’s Shake.” Some songs on the album border on country novelty songs, which you will make fun of at first and then get stuck in your head for days. Others wouldn’t seem out of place on a Stray Cats album.
Setzer has always been about having fun and rocking out to good music, regardless of how popular a given genre is at the time. As a result, Rockabilly Riot: All Original is a strange and wonderful exploration into rockabilly that can’t be compared to any other modern artist. -Allison Lips
