Let’s take a break from the Oscar fare and go back in time. Actually, this sequel takes place in the future. I’m so thrilled Hot Tub Time Machine got a sequel. I wasn’t even aware of this until recently. The original from 2010 is severely underrated. If you haven’t seen it, it’s one of the better comedies of the last five years. In the first one, they went back to the 1980’s. Pretty standard, right? I love how they are adding a goofy sci-fi Terminator-esque element to this one. Adam Scott replacing John Cusack is also a huge upgrade in my opinion. This one should be good for all sorts of chuckles.
