Pre-Trailer Thoughts: I don’t know why we have to split up the final book into two movies, but oh well, here we are. –LJF

Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Catching Fire was pretty good, I have a good feeling this one will be fun too.

Rate the Trailer (1-5): Four out of Five. Since I recently completed the book this film is based on, I do think they are nailing the tone and atmosphere of this somewhat futuristic war. The cast is all back and looking like they own their roles (as they should), along with newcomer Julianne Moore, who should add much to the proceedings as a snarky sassy President, looking to take down the capitol. –LJF

Rate the Trailer (1-5): Four out of Five. I was very impressed with this trailer as opposed to the first teaser I saw a few months ago. This is one promises a ton of action, a sweeping score and those big, grandiose inspirational speeches. Hot damn! –BB

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. While Mockingjay was undoubtedly my least favorite of the Hunger Games books, I can’t say that I will sit this one out. The epic conclusion(s?) to the franchise is a very tense adventure, no doubt about it, and I’m curious to see how it all unfolds cinematically. It’s going to be a long wait until part two (a full year, sadly), but hopefully the girl on fire will go out on a high note (get it? cause a Mockingjay is a bird? Oh forget it). –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. Having enjoyed the previous Hunger Games in the local cineplex, I’m ready for number three. Outside of Guardians of the Galaxy, this is a big blockbuster that will deliver. –BB
