Star Wars may be the king of sci-fi films, but Joss Whedon’s little show and movie that could deserves a blueprint for a “put it together yourself” Serenity like no other. Also, who doesn’t want minifigs of Captain Malcolm Reynolds, Wash, Jayne, Kaylee, River, and the rest of the crew? We should aim to build.
9. King Kong
If you’ve been to the Toys R us in New York City, you’ve seen their massive monkey on the Empire State Building. Now imagine being able to display this in your home, only on a smaller scale. Also, maybe some clear LEGO sticks could extend from the set so you could prop some biplanes on it to recreate the scene in its nail-biting stationary entirety? We are talking classic meets construction; this is a no-brainer.
