Shall We Hug It Out? Fears, Hopes & Thoughts About The Entourage Movie

Four Things About Entourage by Matthew Kelly

1. I loved the Entourage ending because I know that the series ended after Season 6 and that is the end of that. Ari has control of Terrence’s company. Lloyd is a real agent. Drama has a holding deal. Vince is off to Rome to film a new movie. Turtle is a loser. E and Sloan are engaged. The end. There was no drug problem. There was no Andrew Dice Clay. There was no football team. And for God sakes there was no season-long tequila commercial. Season 6 was the perfect ending. Everything is good. E gets off the private jet. The end. Post credits Matt Damon cameo.

2. Of course we don’t need a movie but did we ever need Entourage? Entourage is not a healthy meal. It is the desert that comes after. You don’t need desert but are you going to say no when the waited comes around asking if anyone saved room? I didn’t think so.

3. I am cautiously optimistic. I have rewatched a lot of Entourage recently and it has made me miss how fun it used to be. And for what its worth, Entourage did provide an interesting behind the scenes look at the entertainment industry which has changed a lot in the last few years. Is Vince on Twitter? Is Johnny on a Netflix Show? Does Ari represent Grumpy Cat? Also I can’t wait to see how they completely write off Vince’s wife. That’s gonna be fun.

4. My favorite character is Scott Caan’s character. Just kidding. Jeez I can’t even remember his stupid name. Nahhh I’m no different than the rest of you. My favorite character is Johnny Drama and I will defend him as one of the great television characters of the 20th Century. He had every fancy thing anyone could ever want but he wasn’t happy unless he had respect. He was at the same time both completely confident and impossibly insecure. Johnny Drama wanted nothing more than to be wanted. That and calf implants. Did you see those tree trunks?
