Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Hey, remember that movie with Ashton Kutcher playing Steve Jobs? Apparently Hollywood didn’t either. Whatever the case, a new Jobs biopic is on the way, and this one has a little bit more buzz behind it. –LJF

Pre-Trailer Thoughts: When we first looked at the teaser trailer for Steve Jobs a few months back I was very impressed with the look of the film despite only getting a few fleeting looks at what was actually going on. This time around we’ll hopefully be getting a much clearer picture of the film’s narrative direction. – JTM

Rate the Trailer: 4 out of 5. I can’t say I’m not intrigued by what I’ve seen for this movie. The one thing reeling me in isn’t even the cast itself (which, by the way, I’m all for)-it’s the writer. Aaron Sorkin, the man behind The Social Network, Moneyball, and The West Wing, knows how to write some sharp, snappy, and witty dialogue. It’s for that reason alone I think this movie is going to be really good. –LJF

Rate the Trailer: 4 out of 5. This is definitely one of the better looking movies coming out this fall in my eyes. I’m a huge fan of Danny Boyle’s movies and Aaron Sorkin definitely has experience in writing bio-dramas of Silicon Valley legends with The Social Network under his belt. Michael Fassbender has really sunk into this role, seamlessly playing Jobs at three major points in his life, each with a very distinctive visual style. The supporting cast looks great as well, especially Seth Rogen taking a turn for the serious and hopefully aiming for a Supporting Oscar nomination as Steve Wozniak. – JTM

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent (but trying for theater) Steve Jobs is just another film on the list I want to see this fall. However, if it slips through the cracks, it’s only due to finances. With that being said, a rental is a 100% possibility. –LJF

Theater, Rent, Undecided, No Thanks? Theater. This is already being talked about as one of the early front-runners for a Best Picture nomination. Between that, Sorkin’s script, Boyle’s direction, and Fassbender’s acting, I’d say I have more than enough reasons to go out and see this one. – JTM
