The Body Moves
Se7en is more of a psychological thriller than a straight up horror movie but damn is this movie scary. The fact that it’s so realistic makes this movie truly terrifying. It’s bloody and gruesome, boasting some of the most heinous acts performed on the big screen. When Detectives Somerset and Mills attempt to close in on our killer they are greeted by the nastiest sight I’ve ever seen…a body strapped to a bed that is nothing but skin and bones. The man appears to be dead but when a S.W.A.T. team member leans down to investigate, the body moves, sending jolts throughout the audience and making this humble writer actually scream aloud the first time he saw it.
