Batman
By Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo

Batman 41

Four years into their captivating reimagining of the The Dark Knight mythos; Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman is still strongest New 52 title, and one of the best ongoing series’ available. With Batman #41, Snyder took the series in a completely new direction by giving Bruce Wayne a fresh start in a new non-Batman life, while replacing The Caped Crusader with Jim Gordon in a completely redesigned robotic Bat-suit. Snyder also introduced a completely original new villain, the mysterious and sinister Mr. Bloom, brought to life by Greg Capullo iconic artwork.

The current “Superheavy” arc is coming to a close with Bruce Wayne returning as Batman in issue #50. Unfortunately, Capullo will be taking a break from Batman to work on a yet unannounced creator-owned project with Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Wanted, Kingsman: The Secret Service), but that doesn’t mean you should stop reading anytime soon. As long as Snyder is writing Batman, it will continue to be one of the most interesting titles available.
