The Top Five Movies of 2015

(TIE) 5. KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE – TOMMY TRACY

Why Kingsman: The Secret Service is one of the best films of 2015 is an easy question to answer. Simply put, it was incredible. It came out of nowhere to a fury of stellar reviews, focusing on its fast-paced action, witty dialogue and absurdness. Directed superbly by Matthew Vaughn (of Kick Ass fame), Kingsman is truly a spectacle to behold. You won’t believe it until you see it.

The scale of this film is so large, the action so broad. Samuel L. Jackson plays a vile and hilarious villain, one I haven’t seen since the likes of Dr. Evil. Opposing him is the brilliant Colin Firth of the organization known only as the Kingsman and a series of obstacles and death follow our main characters they try to save the world.

If I’m underselling this, just take my word that you need to see this film by the end of 2015. It was, in my book, the best film of the year not named Star Wars. That should be a high mark in its own right.
