Starring: Brian “Q” Quinn, Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano and James “Murr” Murray

If I could trade my entire group of friends in for Q, Sal, Joe and Murr, I would (Sorry, friends!).

I absolutely love Impractical Jokers. To say it’s hilarious is an understatement. The pranks are awesome, the jokes are clever and the situations are unbelievable at times. I’m always fascinated by the improv – these guys never miss a beat, especially when they’re torturing each other.

IMPRACTICAL JOKERS

The Season 5 premiere did not disappoint. The first scene was in an office for a focus group and  began with a drawer full of hot dogs beside a pescatarian – perfect!

The next scene was at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. Murr was covered in Vaseline as he stood next to Carrie Underwood’s statue – followed by Q making out with Taylor Swift’s replica and using a “crotch cam” on wax as well as real figures.

The loser prank gets more outrageous every episode. I thought nothing could beat Joe on the top of the Roosevelt Island tram or the four walking across a high wire in New York City. Tonight’s final prank was pretty close – the episode titled “HellCopter” perfectly represented its name, with Murr dangling off the side of a helicopter and Sal, as the heaviest person on the plane, having to jump out.

I would love to run into these guys and have a beer with them. I’ve seen their live show twice, and though I unfortunately had to sell my tickets a few weeks ago for their Radio City Music Hall show, I’m looking forward to their July appearance in Atlantic City. Adult diapers and tissues needed: you’ll laugh so hard you’ll cry, wet yourself, or both.

RATING: 9 OUT OF 10
