Independent singer-songwriter and South Jersey native Matt McAndrew, best-known for earning second place on Season 7 of The Voice, is working on a new EP without a label —and he needs your support.

McAndrew, whose passion lies in creating sincere, guitar-driven music, set up a PledgeMusic Project, which allows fans to pledge to pre-order his music and instantly become a part of the making of the EP.

By pledging to his project, the fans can spend anywhere from $7 to $11,000 on exclusive offers such as an Access Pass which gives them a download of the new EP as well as updates and sneak peeks; a signed, handwritten lyric sheet; or even a full acoustic show for an International fan and his or her friends. So far, McAndrew is up to 12% of the financial goal, with 61 days left of the project.

During his time on The Voice, McAndrew’s covers of songs like Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” and Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” dazzled fans, and his original single “Wasted Love” topped charts. McAndrew’s talent warranted him a spot on tour with Andy Grammer and American Authors in 2015. At the end of this tour, he opened for Nick Jonas and Maroon 5 at the Atlantic City Beach Concert in August for a crowd of nearly 50,000 people.

Feel free to listen to his previous work, including his 2014 EP, View of The Pines, or any of his catchy singles such as “Wasted Love” or “Counting On Love.”

If you are in the New York City area, you can watch him perform at The Cutting Room on May 6. You’ll be able to experience his wide vocal range and captivating stage presence. And don’t forget to appreciate his tattoos!
