Kevin Smiths cult film, Mallrats, is heading to the small screen and will be revised for its sequel treatment as a ten-episode series.

During a radio appearance on Philadelphia radio station 93.3 WMMR, Smith confirmed that his much anticipated sequel for this 90’s darling will become a television series for a station that at this moment has not been confirmed yet.

Smith has recently done a stint on television this year, behind the lens, serving as director for the very popular CW show The Flash, in addition to his upcoming flick Yoga Hosers, which is expected to come out later this summer.
