Warner Brothers ends their Comic-Con panel with an old staple, bringing us back to the world of Harry Potter.  In a script written by J.K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, taking place in 1920’s New York City, where we get our first glimpse of what the American wizarding climate is like.  It follows Newt Scamander, a wizard who specializes in magical creatures.

Eddie Redmayne plays the role, and was brought onstage alongside fellow cast members Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler.  Director David Yates was also in attendance.  Yates of course directed the final four Potter flicks, including the two-part finale, Deathly Hallows.  Other notable members in the cast include Jon Voight and Ron Perlman.

Aside from everyone in the crowd getting wands, Hall H was treated to a brand new trailer.  The previous trailers haven’t exactly gotten my blood boiling, but this one finally feels like it’s in the world of Harry Potter.  I definitely saw a few goblins.  See the trailer for yourself right here!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them apparates into theaters November 18th, 2016!
