Christian Bale? Nah. Ben Affleck? Fine, I guess. Clooney? Maybe, if you’re into nipples.

Folks, let’s be serious for a moment. The only Batman that matters is none other than Adam West, in all the glory of his thinly drawn Bat-O-Brows.So when it was announced today that a new animated feature film starring the original 1960’s caped crusaders, voiced by West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar I was ecstatic.

In a teaser, Batman and Robin (on their way to a fiery end via giant TV dinner tray) break the fourth wall to tell fans they can watch Batman: The Return of the Caped Crusaders on Oct. 11. There was also a mention of fighting the Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman both on Earth and maybe in space.

Julie Newmar will also be back to voice her iconic character Catwoman, whom she played in the original series.

Batman: The Return of the Caped Crusaders will be available for viewing and purchase October 11 on Digital HD and on Blu-Ray November 1st.
