POP-BREAK LIVE: MATISYAHU & 311 AT THE STONE PONY SUMMERSTAGE

On July 15th, Matisyahu and 311 took the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Matisyahu began the night with a mellow set which allowed the crowd to settle in and made 311 shine. The 5 piece band out of Nebraska has been performing for 26 years, but they jammed out as hard as if it were their first show.

311’s tradition of delivering high-energy, fun-loving sets to the legendary Stone Pony continued on this super hot July night. It’s no secret that this unit is one of the tightest touring bands out there right now. Every single time they come to Asbury Park, the show is always to capacity. The vibes are always super positive, and the crowd is left, soaking in their sweat, with smiles on their faces, and love in their hearts.

Sure we’re waxing poetic about this show, and it’s because the show was amazing. If you aren’t checking out 311 when they roll into your town, you’re doing it all wrong.

Pop-Break’s Kim Wessels caught the action.
