Jon Favreau to Return in Upcoming Spider-Man Film

Spider-Man isn’t the only one getting a homecoming…

According to Variety, a familiar face is returning to the Marvel cinematic universe. Alongside Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Jon Favreau will be appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Tony Stark’s comical chauffeur and “bodyguard” Happy Hogan.

The film is currently being shot in Atlanta with Tom Holland starring as Peter Parker and a cast including Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, and Logan Marshall-Green. “Vacation” directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein penned the script, while Jon Watts is directing with Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige producing.

The extent of Favreau’s role in the film is still unknown. Marvel and Sony had no comment on the news as plot details are scarce.
