The 2016 Fall Movie Preview

3. Bad Santa 2

Bad Santa 2

Release Date: November 23rd

Cast: Billy Bob Thornton, Tony Cox, Christina Hendricks, Kathy Bates

Director: Mark Edwards (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday)

If you haven’t seen the original Bad Santa, I implore you to do so.  It might be my favorite Christmas movie of all time.  Billy Bob Thornton gives a comedic performance for the ages.  I always knew a sequel was in the works, but had no idea it was coming out this soon.  Comedy sequels are destined to fail 99.9% of the time.  I might be setting myself up for failure, but I actually have high hopes.  The trailer is exactly what I wanted to see.  It’s Bad Santa.  Thornton hasn’t missed a beat.  I also love they are bringing back the same actor who played the kid, Thurman (Brett Kelly).  He looks hilarious now grown up.  The trailer has already given me more laughs than Central Intelligence and Popstar combined.  Some scenes concern me, like the goofy Kathy Bates mom scene, showcasing a clear case of sequelitis (cheap gimmicks).  Just let Billy Bob Thornton do his thing.

  1. Wow! You sound like someone who’s so educated on Fantastic Beasts!

If you were a Harry Potter fan you at least do your fucking research and find out that the beasts are not the focus of the film! I know you’d hoping for an underwhelming box office, but it’s fandangos most anticipated fall film! Stop trying to force your douchey negativity on all of us.

This films is about life in Wizarding America, no about beasts. You don’t care about it because you’re a lazy ignorant asshole who takes everything at face value. You seriously think JK Rowling would give us a story just about creatures? It’s a trilogy, you fuckin’ idiot. And it’s had massively amazing test screening reviews. Please stop writing.
