RDR 2

In 2010, Rockstar Games released Red Dead Redemption, a new take on the Grand Theft Auto style of the sandbox game, only this time, it was set in the old west. The game was graphically beautiful, balanced, and provided a learning curve that kept the storytelling element in a safe place. You controlled the main character John Marston, a man looking for redemption after many years of being a part of a gang criminal. Unfortunately, the end of RDR sees John’s past catching up to him as he is gunned down by the same government officials who said he would be a free man if he took out former friends that he rode on the wrong side of the tracks with.

The game was a critically acclaimed hit, and fans yearned for more. Well, they are getting it. Released earlier today, the teaser trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 has hit the interwebs and it is a little bit longer than a minute. It doesn’t tell us much, but the scenery is serious eye candy, and it seems like you will have a posse to rely on to help in your adventure. It is not for sure if the main character is John son’s Jack. Jack had an epilogue mission (which you had to seek out) at the end of the first game to avenge the death of his father, so it seems like that chapter of his life is done. However, Rockstar may weave a new web for John’s only child.

We will find out more details leading up to the release of the game, which is set for Fall 2017. Until then, take a look at this stunning teaser.
