Pop-Break Live: Foals at The United Palace Theatre – Washington Heights, New York, Friday, 11/04/16

Foals brought it to the people on Friday night November 4 at The United Palace Theatre in the Washington Heights section of New York City.

The band stopped in the Big Apple as a part of their American tour in support of their 2015 record What Went Down. The tour just wrapped up in Chicago on November 9.

The band, which hails from Oxford, England, brought their big, high energy sound to New York. Lead singer and guitarist, Yannis Philippakis, who is known for jumping off venue balconies, could not do so at United Palace. So instead he ran through the crowd, and got the crowd (seated in their fancy velvet seats) off their feet to dance and jump. He also crowd surfed numerous times, and exhibited excellent showmanship through the band’s set.

Pop-Break’s Saidy Lopez caught the band in action.
