The New Uncensored Logan Trailer is One of the Most Bad Ass Trailers Ever

There are good trailers. There are awesome trailers. Then there’s this trailer.

We all know that Hugh Jackman’s latest (and possibly one of his last) forays as Wolverine could be awesome. We saw the first trailer, and it was awesome. The Johnny Cash music. The gray in Logan’s hair. The scenes with Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. Awesome. Goosebumps.

Then there’s this trailer.

For those unaware, Logan will be rated R. This trailer proves that this R is going to be a hard R…a hard R covered in blood, and most likely tears.

This trailer definitely lets the “f bombs” and the viscera fly, but it also clues us into the mysterious young girl’s role in the film. The girl, Laura (played by Dafne Keen), is a mutant. We learned that in the first trailer. In this trailer you learn what her powers really are. Not even going to spoil what they are for you. Watch the trailer. Be amazed. Be scared. Be ready to get your opening day ticket.

The film, which is based on Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan story, is set to hit theaters on March 3. It also stars Stephen Merchant, Boyd Holbrook, Eriq LaSalle, Richard E. Grant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Elise Neal.

Logan is written by James Mangold and Scott Frank who wrote The Wolverine, and Michael Green who contributed to numerous superhero television series and DC’s Green Lantern film. Mangold, who directed The Wolverine, also has dramatic heavyweights like Walk the Line, and Girl, Interrupted.
