“Life Finds a Way” as Jeff Goldblum Is Set to Reprises Role for Jurassic World Sequel

The Jurassic World sequel will be further fleshing out its Jurassic Park canon with the return of Jeff Goldblum, resuming the role of iconic Dr. Ian “Life finds a way” Malcolm.

Goldblum joins a cast that currently includes returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard alongside Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and Rafe Spall. Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg are returning to produce the film, with JA Bayona (When a Monster Calls, The Impossible) to direct.

Jeff Goldblum previously reprised the Ian Malcolm role for 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Although eagle-eyed viewers can glimpse his photo in Jurassic World, the new film will mark the first full appearance of the character in more than two decades.

The Jurassic World Sequel is set for release on June 22, 2018.
