Dead & Company Bring Two Sets of Grateful Dead Classics to Camden

Pop Break Live: Dead & Company at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ

Dead and Company’s summer tour is easily one of the most eagerly anticipated outdoor tours of 2017. Forget the majority of the multi-day fests, or the big “it” bands touring — this is the one fans were dying to see.

And for good reason — Dead and Company has proven to be an amazing live experience.

The band consists of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (vocals and guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums) performing along with John Mayer (vocals and guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).

They performed two sets of Dead classics, cuts from Jerry Garcia’s solo career, and covers of Willie Dixon, Jimmy Reed, and the Dixie Cups.

Pop Break’s Matt Heasley caught the band in action.
