Marvel Releases First Full-Length Inhumans Trailer

A full-length trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans, the new Marvel Cinematic Universe series, recently made its debut online.

Though Inhumans is no longer part of the MCU’s Phase Three, the first two episodes will still make it into IMAX theaters for two weeks, starting on September 1. As reported by Deadline, these episodes will premiere September 29 at 8 PM on ABC. Earlier reporting states this television premiere will include additional content. Afterwards, the season’s remaining six episodes will also run on ABC.

Below you can watch the trailer, which gives us our first glimpse into the lives of the Inhuman Royal Family and mounting tension between its members.

Personally, I definitely get a lower budget feel from the trailer. Lockjaw, the giant, teleporting bulldog, makes it clear that the series is much more TV show than movie, despite the fancy digital IMAX cameras used to shoot the premiere. Game of Thrones fans will recognize Iwan Rheon, who plays Maximus, brother of the Inhuman ruler Black Bolt (Anson Mount).
