New York Rockers VISTA to Release New EP

Anthem rock band, VISTA, dropped their sophomore EP, Long Live, on July 21. Comprised of front-woman Hope Vista and guitarist Greg Almeida, the band’s sound revolves around Vista’s powerful vocals and classic pop-rock instrumentation—distortion, bass-heavy drumming, duel vocals and guitar solos carry listeners through the seven tracks.

In addition to four new songs, the EP will include two previously released tracks (“Henchmen” and “Allegiance”) as well as a new version of “Dominance,” a track that first emerged during Hope Vista’s solo career.

Like the band’s first EP, Versus, Long Live revolves around a theme. The new release concerns making allegiances in a dystopian society. Chants, sung in Hope’s polished vocals, are intended to form a front against an oppressive society. Along with promoting the EP, the band has been inviting fans into “The Oasis,” which they describe as a “metaphorical safe haven…for anyone looking to find a sanctuary in music amidst a world in crisis.”

After supporting Against the Current and selling out their first two headlining shows, VISTA will embark on their first headlining tour this August in support of the EP.
