Parlor Mob, Camping & Great Food Headline Indian Summer 2017 in Asbury Park

Local music, food, and shopping festival, Indian Summer, returns to Asbury Park, NJ for a fourth year on September 22-24th.

Outside Anchor’s Bend (located on the North Beach), live bands perform all weekend long. Overnight camping (with bonfires) on the beach will be available, with special food offerings from Anchor’s Bend.

Inside Convention Hall will be a massive market, Asbury Park Bazaar, filled with local vendors, pop-up shops, and more. It’s an amazing array of crafts, products, and food that are perfect for holiday shopping.

There will be Sunday morning beach yoga, and brunch available at the Anchor’s Bend.

Indian Summer, which began in 2014, showcases some of the best local music and art as the summer winds down. It has grown from a small celebration into a full-blown festival, thanks to the partnership between co-founders Colin Carhart and Joe Chyb, Bazaar Founder and Indian Summer partner, Jenny Vickers-Chyb and Asbury Park Boardwalk.

For $35, a weekend pass will give you access to the Beach Stage, with the return of Asbury’s favorite rockers, The Parlor Mob on Saturday. Band of Changes, a “revolving door concept that features a loose consortium of over fifty musicians,” headline on Sunday. Band of Changes will feature the amazing Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, WOLF!).

Although tickets are required for entry into the festival on Saturday and Sunday, Indian Summer will host a free pre-party on Friday, with performances from Smalltalk, Sun Voyager, and more. Other acts include Rye Coalition, Thomas Wynn & the Believers, and Jackson Pines.

Here is the official music line-up:

Friday (FREE Pre-Party) features: Small Talk, Sun Voyager and more!

Saturday features: The Parlor Mob, High Disciple, Ms. TK & The Revenge, Star Spangles, Life Eaters, Sunshine & The Rain, Fruit & Flowers, Michigander, The Tide Bends, Morgan Freemasons and more!

Sunday features: Band of Changes (ft: Chris Harford, Joe Russo, Dave Dreiwitz, and Robbie Seahag), Karmic Juggernaut, Thomas Wynn & The Believers, Jackson Pines, American Trappist, Lowlight and more!

Tickets and overnight camping tickets are available now.

Don’t miss the chance to keep the tradition of live music and art alive in Asbury.
