Blondie, Garbage Bring ‘Rage and Rapture’ to The Mann Center

Pop Break Live: Blondie, Garbage at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA

The “Rage and Rapture” Tour — a co-headlining tour featuring Blondie and Garbage rolled into the Mann Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in early August.

This tour was a hell of a one-two punch as it featured two of premier female vocalists of the 70s and 90s — Debbie Harry, and Shirley Manson respectively. Garbage rocked all their hits including: “Stupid Girl,” “#1 Crush,” and kind of forgotten James Bond theme song, “The World is not Enough.”

Blondie played a mix of tunes — both classics and covers. The hits like “Call Me,” “Rapture,” and “Heart of Glass” were perform but so were covers of Boby Dylan, The Paragons, The Nerves, and Unkindness.

Opening the show was the duo, Deap Vally.

Pop Break’s Staci Altomari caught the bands in action.
