The cast and crew of USA’s beloved comedy Psych reunited at New York Comic on Saturday October 7.

The panel included executive producer Chris Henze, Corbin Bernsen (Shawn Spencer’s father), Kirsten Nelson, (Chief Vick), Maggie Lawson (Juliet “Jules” O’Hara), James Roday (Shawn Spencer), and executive producer Steve Franks.

The show about two childhood best friends (Roday, and Dule Hill who was not at the panel) who form a psychic detective agency ran from 2006-2014, and was one of USA’s flagship shows for years.

The cast and crew reunited to promote, Psych: The Movie which is due to come out on December 7, 2017 and will air on the USA Network.

There was quite a few big pieces of information that dropped during the panel.

The first was new “cast announcements” for the film. These include — Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio, Chuck’s Zachary Levi, Sam Huntington (Sully, Superman Returns, Rosewood, Being Human), and the return of WWE superstar John Cena.

New digs: There was a discussion about the new Psych office in San Francisco. According to the panel it will look exactly like “that one scene in Gremlins.” No further details given, and we were told to wait until the premiere date.

Despite the film being two months from being released, a possible sequel was discussed, but (of course) nothing official was confirmed. The cast was extremely hopeful this would happen though.

A 20 minute sneak peak was then shown to the audience. My favorite line — “Gus. Don’t be the comma in Earth, Wind and Fire”

Psych: The Movie premieres on USA on December 7.
