Pop-Press: Marco Benevento’s Asbury Show Moved

the news desk breaks it down…

For those wondering…yes, Marco Benevento will still be performing in Asbury Park on Saturday July 28.

Originally scheduled to perform at The Press Room on Bangs Avenue (which sadly shut its doors earlier this month), the Brooklyn-based pianist’s performance has been moved to the legendary Stone Pony only a few blocks away.

The show will be taking place in conjunction with the performance of the Grateful Dead tribute band Splintered Sunlight. The doors for the show open at 7pm and Marco will take the stage around 8pm and end roughly around 9:30pm. Splintered Sunlight will take the stage around 10pm for two sets.

We’re being told tickets Splintered Sunlight’s will be honored during Marco’s set, but please call The Stone Pony box office at 732-502-0600 to confirm.
