Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. To say I’m excited for The World’s End is putting it mildly; it’s definitely my most anticipated movie of the summer. Being that I’m a fan of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, missing this one would be stupid of me. The final installment of the “Blood and Cornetto Trilogy” is upon us, and I’m excited for how Edgar Wright brings one of the best cinematic duos (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) back to us under his direction. August 23rd can’t get here soon enough! –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. I have been waiting for a new Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright film since the end credits on Hot Fuzz rolled in 2007. Their previous films, the aforementioned Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead and their beloved sitcom Spaced, are some of my favorite pieces of comedy ever created. The trailer for The World’s End has me absolutely stoked. First, the cast is the best the Cornetto Trilogy has ever seen with regulars Paddy Considine and Martin Freeman returning plus the very underrated Eddie Marsan. I think the dynamic these guys will bring to the already established (and awesome) chemistry of Frost and Pegg will be amazing. And that has me the most excited about the film. Yes, the premise looks fantastic, the soundtrack will no doubt be amazing and there will be plenty of winks and nods that’ll pop hardcore fans, but it’s this five-man team that has me most excited. I could go on for pages so, I’ll wrap it up by saying I can’t wait for August 23rd. –BB
