Pre-Trailer thoughts: A Need for Speed movie? Didn’t the Fast and Furious flicks cover this topic already? -LJF | Did people love this video game enough to warrant a movie? –BB

Rate the trailer (1-5): Two out a five. It’s sexy cars that go fast and the trailer showcases dynamite camera work. Other than that, not much else. –LJF | Zero out of five. First off, why is Aaron Paul’s voice over-dubbed? He sounds like an idiot. The trailer is a second-rate version of the Fast & Furious movies…and those could be considered second-rate movies themselves. –BB

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent. While I’ve barely played the Need for Speed video games this movie is based on, I’m going to check this movie out for a few reasons. The main one is Aaron Paul. I’m sure the dude can elevate dialogue and possibly save a movie in which I have no other interest. Another feature which is making this a rental is Michael Keaton. I basically love the actor in anything. Finally, there looks to be some decent car action in the film. So all those reasons are saving it from a complete pass. Lets hope that I’m not 100% disappointed. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No Thanks. I have absolutely no desire to watch this movie. It looks like the absolute drizzling shits. It looks so dumb, so loud and so cliche that it pains me to watch the trailer. I didn’t watch Breaking Bad so I have no attachment to Aaron Paul and while I love Michael Keaton, he’s been in bad movies before that I didn’t watch. I never really got into the Fast & Furious movies, so there’s no way I can get into this knock-off. –BB
