The Skate & Surf Festival has a new location, new headliners and a whole new vibe.
The festival, which will run May 17 and May 18, returns to its home — the beaches of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
However Asbury Park won’t just be a picturesque backdrop, the area will also be fully integrated into the festival with afterparties scheduled to take place at Asbury Lanes, Kim Marie’s Eat & Drink Away, Asbury Park Yacht Club and Langosta Lounge. Single-day passes are now available for $55.00 with full weekend passes going for $107.99. Additionally, $55 no fee/cash-only tickets will be available at the local business Chop Chop Bang Bang. 408 Emory St. Asbury Park, NJ 07712.
The line-up has also been altered….and we’re stoked.
On Saturday May 17th, headliners Midtown and Saosin (featuring Anthony Green) remain in tact, but added to the event will be heavyweights like The Early November, Jake Miller and Kid Ink. The rest of the card will feature — AER, Basic Vacation, Brick+Mortar, Chasing Safety, Emmure, Front Porch Step, Gift Giver, Knuckle Puck, Lorna Shore, My Ticket Home, NGHBRS, Radio Smash, Sirens & Sailors, Somewhere in Time, The Plot in You, Upon a Burning Body, What’s Eating Gilbert and Youth in Revolt.
On Sunday May 18th, New Found Glory and Alkaline Trio have been added as headlining acts along with Midtown and Circa Survive. We Came as Romans and Hidden in Plain View have also been added as top draws. The rest of the card will feature: Acacia Strain, Animals as Leaders, Ballyhoo!, Chon, Fit for a King, Intervals, Kublai Khan, Light Years, Lil Dicky, Mod Sun, Patent Pending, Pianos Become Their Teeth, Structures, The Mongoloids, Tiny Moving Parts, United Nations and Unlocking the Truth.
