Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Since these guys got their own cartoon on Nickelodeon, I guess they deserve a movie now? –LJF

Pre-Trailer Thoughts: Shoot me. –BB

Rate the Trailer (1-5): Two out of five. I can’t say that this movie looks totally awful, but as far as animated films go, this one doesn’t look appealing and/or funny. Even though the “penguin eating cheese puffs to interrupt animal” was funny, this one is solely for the kiddies. –LJF

Rate the Trailer (1-5): One out of five. You know what this trailer reminds me of? The other Madagascar movies. You know what I could care less about? The Madgascar movies. –BB

Theater. Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No thanks. I’ve only seen the first Madagascar film and while I really enjoyed it, I really don’t feel the need to see the sequels. I prefer other Dreamworks franchises (How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda come to mind) and the feeling here is that this series is running out of gas. Not for me. –LJF

Theater. Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No thanks. Hey, at least there’s no animals singing mid-90s dance songs. This looks awful, but it’ll make filthy money. -BB
