The 1990s ruled Solomons, MD on Friday, July 3rd. The Barenaked Ladies, Violent Femmes and Colin Hay played to an all-ages, packed crowd at the beautiful, waterside arena.

Colin Hay (of Men at Work fame) kicked off the evening with a solo, acoustic performance. He kept the audience engaged and laughing, owning his opening slot space with command and ease. The Violent Femmes rocked through all their old favorites, with the masterful Brian Viglione on drums. Viglione, most known for his membership in the Dresden Dolls, brings spectacular, new energy to their live show. The Barenaked Ladies’ performance focused heavily on their new album Silverball, released last month. The 20 song set also included fan favorites Old Apartment, Light Up My Room, One Week, and If I Had a Million Dollars.
