Corey Taylor Solo Acoustic Show: The Stone Pony | July 8, 2015

Pop-Break Live: Corey Taylor at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor performed a special, intimate acoustic show for a sold-out Stone Pony on July 8th. The performance was a part of the singer’s You’re Making Me Hate You Tour. The tour commemorated the release of Taylor’s brand new book — You’re Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look at the Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left. (The book is currently available on Amazon.)

Our staff was in attendance for the show and they all said the same thing — Taylor is a master performer who had the audience completely enthralled and entertained with his plethora of cover tunes (including the Scooby-Doo theme), and his unflaggingly charming and charismatic personality. It doesn’t hurt that he’s pretty damn funny too.

Pop-Break and Deadbolt Photos Keeyahtay Lewis caught Taylor in action. Also, don’t forget our hilarious and insightful interview with Taylor from 2013!
