Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Date, Trailer Revealed in Epic Facebook Live Video

Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Date, Trailer Revealed in Epic Facebook Live Video

It was truly, truly epic.

HBO announced the premiere date of Game of Thrones Season 7 with a Facebook live video that will talked about for ages. The video required Facebook users to type in “fire” and/or “dracarys.” Upon doing so flames from off camera flamethrowers would fly towards a massive ice sculpture. Inside this ice sculpture was a huge metal object. The video ended twice without revealing the date, but upon resuming for a third time, and with full flame on, the date — July 16, 2017.

Right after the date reveal, the Facebook Live video cut to a new teaser trailer for Season 7. In it, we hear numerous voiceovers, and statues of various houses crumbling. Could they be crumbling in the spiral pattern associated with The White Walkers? Does this mean the war between living and the dead begins this season? Who knows. But here is what we do know…according to HBO press release…
