Mid-November is when traditional television starts to wind down — mid-season finales, holiday specials, and the occasional “big” episode.

For Hulu, they looking at mid-November as a time to kickstart a new high profile series that has the potential to be one of the biggest streaming shows of the year.

The series is Future Man, a 13 episode sci-fi comedy starring: Josh Hutcherson (Hunger Games), Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings), Derek Wilson (Preacher, Rectify), Ed Begley Jr. (Better Call Saul), the late Glenne Headly (Mr. Holland’s Opus), Haley Joel Osment (Sixth Sense), Keith David (They Live), and Britt Lower (Man Seeking Woman).

Check out our interviews with Seth Rogen, and Josh Hutcherson about Future Man.

The series follows Josh Futturman (Hutcherson), a young janitor and expert gamer, who is recruited by two future warriors (Coupe, Wilson). The trio travel through time in order to save the world.

Future Man is the brainchild of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg — their second foray into television, the first being AMC’s Preacher.

At San Diego Comic Con we sat down with the series’ stars, Eliza Coupe and to talk about the how they came onto the show, the freedom they had to make the characters their own, video games, was the show everything they had hoped for and more.

Catch Josh Hutcherson on Future Man, which is currently streaming on Hulu.
