Pop-Press: Those Mockingbirds & Reese Van Ripper, ‘Horns & Tails’


News flash – we really dig Those Mockingbirds. We’ve been saying this since last year and we will continue saying it every time they drop new music.

Today, TMB has dropped a new single, “Horns & Tails” which was done in musical collaboration with the North Jersey band Reese Van Ripper. The song is a bit of a departure for Those Mockingbirds, as it strays off the path of the grungy rock ‘n’ roll they produced on their latest record Penny the Dreadful. (The difference is more sonic than thematic.) This is a much more atmospheric, haunting piece that could easily be thrown into a trailer for The Walking Dead. It’s a fantastic single that we highly recommend you check out.
