1. “Comedy on Cookman” – Monthly showcase of up-and-coming comics at The ShowRoom Cinema (independent movie theatre) featuring 3 comics doing stand-up and participating in the “5 Rounds” Panel Discussion.  Next Show: 4/28. This is a special show because the entire line-up will be running the Jersey Shore Marathon Relay earlier in the day to raise money for Special Olympics New Jersey.  You can find more info here…

2. Comedy Open Mic at Bank on Mattison – Open Mic every other Wednesday at one of the coolest bars in Asbury.  Show is free for audience, $5 for performers and each comic gets between 5-10 minutes of stage time depending on how many people sign-up.  Upcoming Shows: 4/1 and 4/15.

The Spelling Bee (Taylor Allen) – Monthly shows at The Saint. Usually brings in “alternative” headliners like Kyle Kinane and Kurt Braunohler with local comics opening the show.  Upcoming Shows: Check “Spelling Bee” on FaceBook

Bust-A-Gut Comedy Clubs (Geno Talarico) – Weekly shows at Nino’s Pizza in Ocean featuring pretty well known headliners (Bob Levy, DC Benny, etc.).  Upcoming Shows:

Jersey Jokers (Chris Covert) – Monthly Open Mic at The Dublin House in Red Bank (first Thursday of every month).  Jersey Joker shows at various locations in Red Bank featuring regional headliners and local openers. Upcoming Shows: Dublin House Open Mic on 4/2. for more info.

Two Guys, A Girl & A Pizzeria Open Mic (Dan Gagliardi, Rob Avon & Melissa Jouben): Open Mic at Crust & Crumble Pizzeria (The Shoppes on Cookman Ave.).  Every other Thursday, no cover.  Upcoming Shows:  April 9th & April 23rd.
