Monthly Pop 5: March TV Shows

Marley Ghizzone – The Good Wife

Oh March. You are so deceptive. You are the month of daylights savings and temperamental weather. One day spring has most definitely sprung and the next it’s snowing. It’s cruel, but that’s what makes March such a great month to stay inside and watch TV. Why go outside and battle the elements and the loss of an hour of sleep when you can stay inside your dark room and binge watch TV.

So yes, I spent most of March watching copious amounts of TV. But one show has stood out as the best of the best. Last month, The Good Wife killed it. I mean it always has killed it, but for this show to be in it’s sixth season and still find new ways to approach episodes without being contrived or repetitive is incredible.

March 8th’s episode, “Minds Eye,” is what I am specifically talking about. It was stunning episode. Oh my god, I couldn’t handle it. The entire episode was basically inside Alicia’s mind. She went through problems by using the other characters and how they may or may not react. It also interwove some sexy problems between Peter, Jonathan, Peter, and Finn which is always oodles of fun.

The Good Wife is always strong. I love it. If I could marry a TV show I would marry The Good Wife because it makes my entire world go round. If you haven’t seen this show, go binge it right now. If you have episodes piling up in your DVR, how dare you? Go watch them. The Good Wife is captivating and intelligent television.
