Analysis: This is your no-brainer #2 highest grosser. After the absurd amount of money the last Despicable Me made, this movie is basically a license to print money, and a big part of it is because of these characters. It won’t do quite as well as Despicable Me 2, but no one will be crying over its final box office numbers.
What It Has Going For It: Proven, money in the bank franchise.
What It Has Going Against It: You aren’t getting the whole Despicable Me package.
