Summer, better known as the season where music festivals sprout and blossom all throughout the country to bring concert goers the bands they have anxiously been awaiting to see all year. This weekend, Sweetlife Festival in Columbia, Maryland is adding the empowerment of a healthy mind and body to the mix of live tunes.

Hosted by Sweetgreen, a culinary lifestyle brand whose dedication lies in providing healthy and locally sourced meals, the festival combines the team’s love for music and dedication to raising awareness of maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

From Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris to Misterwives and Billy Idol, the two-day event will feature more than 25 artists of all different genres. Festival goers will also be surrounded by plenty of alternate activities such as play areas and art installations.

Since the cuisine is just as important as the music at Sweetlife, the culinary lineup will offer options for all types of foodies. Aside from Sweetgreen serving their own popular treats, this year’s vendors will include nationally recognized-chef collaborations as well as concessions like Eat Pops, Shake Shack and even cold-brew coffee from Stumptown.

Proceeds from the festival will support “sweetgreen in schools,” a program that educates kids about the importance of healthy eating, fitness and nutrition through workshops. Fans can also donate to the festival’s charity of choice, “Foundations of Music” which helps to give all children access to music education.

With ticket prices ranging from $97 to $225, Sweetlife festival offers single and 2 day general admission passes for purchase as well as VIP and pavilion seating.

  1. I will never return to sweetlife, no matter how good the music choices. The demographics for this festival was a joke. Um, how does 12-16 yrs sound? There were 12 year old children smoking weed, 14 year old children smoking weed, and 16 year olds on the verge of impregnating themselves. Middle school children were EVERYWHERE, couldn’t escape it. YES, the music was great, and the food choices were probably even better, but amount of sloppy children was ridiculous.
