This would be higher if it weren’t for the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, but we’ll get to that later.  This movie is on hold until I see DC’s first movie.  In looking at the trailer though, I’m impressed.  This looks disturbing as hell, and that’s the way it should be.  While I’m not the biggest David Ayer fan, he’s certainly shown a lot of potential already.  While a lot of the cast is hit or miss (Jai Courtney), you couldn’t ask for better with the four key roles.  Viola Davis brings a real gravitas to Amanda Waller.  It’s great to see Will Smith in a cool supporting role.  Margot Robbie is quintessential perfect casting as Harley Quinn.  And then of course there’s Jared Leto as the Joker.  This was a major casting coup.  I’ll break the suspense right now and tell you it wont come close to Heath Ledger, but Leto is the best possible scenario I could have hoped for as our next Joker.  As unique and cool as this movie looks, it won’t matter if BvS crashes and burns.  We’ll all be sour going into their next film if that one sucks.
