This is a very sitcomey line, but boy is it a good one. Not only does Bill Murray’s delivery work in spades, per usual, but it’s Sigourney Weaver’s reaction that’s priceless. Who the hell does this guy think he is? It perfectly sums up Peter Venkman’s character. I love that you can interpret this in two different ways. Is this a legitimate slip of the tongue by Venkman, or does he actually screw it up on purpose? That’s brilliant writing.

Those are pretty good. Winston’s line “This job is definitely not worth eleven-five a year” was a near miss.
