Scoli brings us a very bizarre comic. I will be unfront. I hated it.
I’m sorry. I really am. I don’t think I have ever outright hated anything Transformer related since Beast Machines. Buying this from my local comic shop, I thought this to be some sort of continuation or, well, something I would have enjoyed. I did enjoy the mini-series which ran, and it was bizarre as all hell, but I liked it.
The artwork is what I expected it to be, but the comic itself, just was not. The story was choppy and the whole “backstory” of this movie adaptation came off very convoluted, as though the creator of this, thing, believed readers were closing it and returning it to its bag and board halfway through, since the story no longer made sense at this point.
I feel bad.
