Pop Press: Titus Andronicus Releases New Video

from the news desk of pop-break …

New Jersey indie/punk-rockers Titus Andronicus have released a video for their song “No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future” from their album The Monitor.

The song is a love letter to their home state, featuring the Glen Rock-based band performing in different locations: the middle of the Pine Barrens, a house in Little Egg Harbor, the old carousel house in Asbury Park, a basement in New Brunswick and a rooftop in Jersey City.

On a personal note, check out Pop-Break’s own Joe Zorzi rocking out with the band in the New Brunswick segment of the video. He’s front and center next to the lead singer Patrick Stickles when the band holds up a sign that says “New Brunswick”

If you’ve never given Titus Andronicus a listen before, you’ll be impressed by the rousing chorus of “No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future.” Stickles’ voice evokes a Dirty Jersey version of The Pogues’ Shane McGowan. (Titus actually opened for The Pogues on select U.S. dates.)
